ASRO is a proud partner in the STRATEGY project which aims to improve the interoperability of systems, tools and operational procedures serving the crisis management domain by developing a Pan-European pre-standardisation framework.
STRATEGY project’s vision is to materialise the above activities primarily into a set of CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreements (CWA), hence enhancing interoperability in EU crisis management domain.
Within the project, ASRO has the secretariat for 4 CWAs.
The kick-off meeting for the first workshop (“Structuring the emergency response plans of public safety agencies focusing on incidents such as CBRN and waste disposal plants emergencies”) will take place on January 27, 2022, and stakeholders are invited to register and to obtain more information on the Project Plan, by e-mail: diana.iorga@asro.ro.
The other 3 CWAs are:
1. Management of forest fire incidents – SITAC-based symbology
2. Collaborative Emergency Response – Communication and sharing of operational information among multiple public safety agencies
The launch meetings of these two workshops will take place in the second half of February 2022. Stakeholders are invited to contact: Mrs. Cristina Popa email: cristina.popa@asro.ro.
3. Emergency Management – Rapid damage assessment of buildings and alerting protocol, whose launch meeting will take place in the first half of February 2022.
